Sales call CRM for a logistics team
The challenge
The sales team of a freight company was calling prospects "from a notebook": company lists lived in spreadsheets, call history got lost, follow-ups were forgotten, and the actual cooperation data lived in another system — the TMS. They needed a dedicated CRM built for outbound calling: a prospect database, a "who to call today" queue, call scripts and a pipeline — with live TMS context but zero risk to the production database.
What was built
In two weeks from requirements to production, a standalone CRM was built on Laravel + Livewire next to the main TMS. It has its own database, and the TMS is connected read-only: the company directory and dispatcher notes sync every hour, and working data is never overwritten.
A 3,800+ company database synced from the TMS
deduplicated by normalized name, with dispatcher notes and location counts on each card; "Add to clients" turns a directory record into a lead in one click.
Today Queue
overdue, due-today and fresh leads in a single list: the manager sees who to call first thing in the morning.
Lead card
call log with outcome and next step, full contact history, a call-script panel and live TMS context side by side.
Drag-and-drop pipeline board
a List/Board toggle, funnel stages and dedicated Won / Lost / Do-not-call drop zones.
Call scripts with admin CRUD
scenarios and objection answers at hand right during the call.
A dashboard for the owner
call KPIs, the funnel and per-manager conversion.
Admin/sales role model
managers see their own work, the admin sees analytics, scripts and settings.
Lead contacts are encrypted at the database level (encrypted casts)
even a leaked dump reveals no phones or emails.
58 feature tests; deployed to shared hosting next to the client’s main system.
The result
The CRM runs on the company’s subdomain. The sales team works a 3,800+ company database with live TMS context: the daily queue, call history and the funnel in one place. Hourly sync keeps the base fresh with zero risk to the production system.
